Description/Job Summary

Cape Fear Farm Credit is an agricultural lending organization covering 12 counties in southeastern North Carolina.  We are part of the Farm Credit System, which has been serving the credit needs of rural America for over 100 years.  Our long tradition and agricultureal expertise enable us to provide our members with a dependable surce of credit generation after generation.  If you're looking for an exciting career in the ever-evolving agriculture industry and want to help improve rural America in our local community, Cape Fear Farm Credit is the place for you. 


We are seeking interns for our summer internship program.  Interns will learn about all aspects of Cape Fear Farm Credit's operation and its products and services as well as primary job functions.  Interns will be given projects and assignments to complete during te internship.  Interns will participate in various activities and events to give them exposure to different aspects of the organization.

Salary:  $12.00/hr, up to 40 hours per week during the summer for approximately 10-12 weeks

Required Qualifications

Candidates must be highly motivated, have strong organizational and commuication skills, have high attention to detail and be proficient in MS Office applicatons and open to new technology.  Candidates should be rising juniors or seniors pursuing a degree in agriculture, business or finance.  Some travel will be required.
